There are two main types of magic, mix and mingle or table magic and
illusion shows. The most often used is mix and mingle as this can
be an excellent way of keeping guests entertained during dinner.
An illusion show is a cabaret act and requires proper staging facilities.
They can also be tailored to incorporate people or products for stunning
corporate product launches.
Caricatures

Especially good for meet and greet and during a dinner. A quality
Caricaturist is also an entertainer and not always out to offend!
They can make you look good as well as bad!
Caricaturist's are usually priced by the hour, and it's worth remembering
that they usually do about one caricature per 4 to 6 minutes, so if
you have 100 guests they won't all get drawn.
